RunTracker ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
• Workout data: Runs you log manually or via the live timer — including distance, duration, pace, date, and optional notes.
• Goals and plans: Monthly goals and training plan progress you set within the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the RunTracker service.
• To sync your data securely across sessions.
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time (see Section 6).

5. Children's Privacy

RunTracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Your Rights — Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time directly within the app: tap the user icon on the Runs screen, then choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated workout data from our servers. Alternatively, email us at support@runtracker.app.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
